IRREPRESSIBLE HOPE – A Sermon Series
We are currently in a series of sermons in 1 Peter. The Apostle Peter weaves a theme of hope through his encouraging first letter, teaching us the content of a “living hope” that is solidly rooted in the Resurrection. In fact, “living filled with hope” opens the door to applying the power of the Risen Christ in our everyday lives. Upcoming sermons are:
May 11 [Pentecost]
May 18 “Respectful Living” 1 Peter 2:13-25
May 25 “Marriage in Purity and Reverence”
1 Peter 3:1-7
June 1 “Hope That Witnesses” 1 Peter 3:13-22
June 8 “Arm Yourselves” 1 Peter 4
June 15 “Hope that Humbles Itself” 1 Peter 5:1-6
June 22 “Hope Defeating Anxiety” 1 Peter 5:7
June 29 “Resist the Devil” 1 Peter 5:10
