CHURCH NEWS March 16, 2008

The Deacons are putting together Easter Food Gift Baskets and need special donations to cover the cost of the certificates for meat and groceries for these baskets. If you would like to donate there will be a basket on the Coffee Fellowship table.  Thank You!

Manfisher Meal being served today at 1:30. 

On Tuesday, March 18th (instead of the 25th) the Okanogan Presbyterian Women are planning a noon luncheon at their church.  The speaker is Paul Ashbrooke and the subject is Christianity, Islam and Terrorism.  Bring a friend and enjoy.

Maundy Thursday Service - March 20th at 7:00 pm here at our church, observing the Lord’s Supper. The Westminster Hand Bell Choir will be doing an extended prelude beginning at 6:40 – come for that and enter into reflection time of worship.

Good Friday – Church will be open 12 pm-3 pm (the hours Jesus hung on the cross) for quiet meditation and prayer.
           
            7:00 pm will be the Worship Service here at the church.

Easter –
             6:30 am, Community Sunrise Service – Cemetery on Elmway.  Rev. Bill King (First Baptist Church, Ok.) will be leading.
           
            9:30 am, Sunday School
            10:45 am, Worship Service
