CHURCH NEWS October 21, 2007

Today the Manifisher Meal is served at 1:30 pm. Manfisher Ministries is one of our Mission outreach programs.

VESPER PRAYER SERVICE is returning tonight 6-7 pm in the Memorial Parlor.  This is planned as a monthly event.  IT is a time of intercessory prayer for the church.  If you need prayer for a special need, you’re encouraged to come for prayer as well.  Prayer for healing is available in accordance with James 5:13-16.

Catered Harvest Dinner – Our Harvest Dinner and Non-talent show is on October 27th, next Saturday Evening, 6:00 pm. This is your last chance to sign up.  There will be a sign-up sheet in the Narthex and you do have to pay in advance.  The cost is $11 per person.  Salmon and Prime Rib will be served (Eric Smith is catering).If by chance you need a RIDE or BABYSITTING please let us know today so we can get things set up. Thank you!
Please join the Minnich Family in celebrating the 90th birthday of Evelyn Minnich, Saturday, November 24th, 2007, from 1pm – 4pm at the Omak Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. CARE NET – Volunteers Needed!   Care Net is having volunteer training October 26th and 27th, at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church (Corner of Riverside and Locust).  On the 26th – 5:00-9:00 pm and the 27th - 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.  Snacks and lunch included.  There is a suggested donation of $10.  For more information call Angel at 422-5506.
