CHURCH NEWS July 15, 2007

Picnic in the Park – Today, 1:00 pm for all churches of Omak. It is being put on by Manfisher Ministries. Hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks will be furnished.  Side dishes are needed- put your name on the bowl and serving utensils.  Everybody is welcome.

Centennial Committee Meeting on the 17th at 1:00 pm in the library.

Eastmont Presbyterian Church is hosting Guatemala Missionary Rev. Karla Koll and a salad luncheon Wednesday, July 25th, 11:30 am at the Eastmont Presbyterian Fellowship Hall.  They need RSVP by the 18th with the number in your party. A "Love Offering" will be collected for Rev. Koll.

Sign up for  a Pastoral Visit – As Ken mentioned in the newsletter, he and Polly would like to do some "just checking in" kind of visits this summer.  Each week we'll have available times at the Welcome Center with a sign-up sheet. We have just two requests:

1. If you can have us come in the daytime, please do and     leave the evening slots for those who work during the day.
2. No refreshments please. As much as we love good food, we are constantly struggling to keep our weight down and if we have two or three appointments a day with dessert at each one, we’ll “explode!”
