CHURCH NEWS March 4 , 2007

Today is our potluck after worship.  Session meets with new prospective members in the Memorial Parlor.  Those involved are encouraged to cut in the food line.

Deacons Meeting – Tuesday, March. 6th, 7:00 pm in the library.

Mission Committee meeting March 7th, 5:00 pm in the library.

Next Sunday begins Daylight Savings.  Don’t forget to turn your clock ahead 1 hour.

A “Guess Who’s coming to Dessert?” is planned for Friday, March 16th at 7 p.m.  Sign up on the Friendship Register to either attend or offer to be a host home.  People will be assigned to different homes, but won’t know who else will be there.  It’s a surprise!  It will be a time of fun, food and fellowship, and getting better acquainted with one another.  We encourage those new to our church to attend, so you can meet new friends in a smaller group.

The Centennial Committee would like to hear about our ideas for celebrating our Centennial Year. They’ve placed a suggestion box on the table by the office.

Cookies are needed for Coffee Fellowship.  If you would like to bring some, please put them in freezer bags with the date made on the bag and place them in the right freezer.  Bought cookies are also welcome.
