CHURCH NEWS February 18, 2007

Body Life Committee will meet after church today in the library.

The Church office will be CLOSED on Monday, Feb. 19th for Presidents Day!

ASH WEDNESDAY – Is this Wednesday, Feb. 21st, marking the beginning of Lent.  We will have a quiet, reflective service at the church, 7 p.m.  There will be no Biblical Application Study groups this week to enable everyone to attend. Groups resume next week on Wednesday, Feb. 28th.

Presbytery will be meeting in Naches on Feb. 24th, 9:00 a.m.

Carol & Vicky O’Dell are planning a fun day of scrap booking/ stamping on February 24th from noon to 10:00 pm.  Come and bring your scrap booking/stamping supplies plus a snack to share.  You can come and fellowship while you’re scrap booking/stamping for one hour or the entire time.  If you would like to come, call Vicky at 826-5262 or just show up.  You can even invite your friends to come and have a scrapping/stamping good time.

Our first Sunday of the month potluck will be on March 4th following the Worship Service.

                        N-Z   bring a dessert
Main dishes are always welcome, though one main dish is provided by Body Life, for which we receive donations. 

The Centennial Committee would like to hear about our ideas for celebrating our Centennial Year. They’ve placed a suggestion box on the table by the office.
