CHURCH NEWS December 31, 2006

Deacon’s meeting is Thursday night, Jan. 4th, 7:00 pm, due to the proximity of New Years day.

There will be NO potluck dinner the first Sunday of January.  We will be having it instead on the 21st at for our Congregational Meeting.

A new Sunday School class for parents of young children will begin Jan. 14th by Jess and Vicky O’Dell in the church library.  This will be a class of teaching and fellowship to get to know one another better.  The book being used is Be a Great Parent, by Dr. H. Norman Wright.  A book is not required for the class, but if you’d like one please write “Book” on the Friendship Register.  This class will be held from 9:30-10:30 am for approx. ten weeks.  Cost of the book is app. $12.

WE NEED FUN TALENT!   On Jan. 20th (Sat.) at 6:30 pm we will have a dessert followed by our “Nontalent Show”.  If you have a humorous skit, song, etc, please sign up on the Friendship Register or talk to Polly (422-3941) soon!
