CHURCH NEWS November 26, 2006

Community Prayer Service – Tuesday, Nov. 28th, 7:00 pm at New Life Center (508 4th Ave. S.) in Okanogan.  Come and pray for our community.

Our Church Christmas decorating/game night
is December 1st, starting at 7:00 pm.  The whole family is welcome for this fun social. Those who want will decorate the church and others can play board games (bring your favorites) – or do a little of both. We will have hot apple cider, hot cocoa, donuts, cookies, etc. afterwards.

Omak Outreach through the Christmas Parade, Saturday, Dec. 2nd, 4:30  pm. We will have a float with the Nativity Scene
on it in the Parade this year.  We need children of all ages to participate in the Nativity Scene and adults and youth to sing Christmas Carols and pass out treats and cards for upcoming events.  If you are interested please either sign-up on the Friendship Register or call the church office.

First Sunday Potluck - is December 3rd after worship.
          A-M      bring a Dessert                 N-Z       bring a Salad
Main dishes are always welcome, though one main dish is provided by Body Life, for which we receive donations.  We need as many people as possible to bring the salads and desserts. Help is also needed in serving and cleaning up after the meal.  If you would like to help in this way please call Carol O’Dell, 826-0379 or sign-up on the Friendship Register, “Potluck”.                                  

Christmas Lights Tour –Tuesday, December 19th 6:00 pm will be our Christmas Lights Tour.  If you are interested in going in the Blue Angel to see the lights, please sign-up “lights” on the Friendship register. Refreshments will follow at the church.

Coffee Fellowship servers are needed for the month of December.  If you are interested in serving the Lord in this way, please contact Talana Lay, 826-4623.
