Mark your calendar for November 4th at 7:00 pm as the night for our catered Harvest Dinner with our Non-Talent Show for entertainment. Please, if you have a humorous skit, poem, song or act, contact Polly soon. The Cost is $10.00 per person (which has to be paid up front) with a meal of Prime Rib, Salmon and a 5 layer strawberry cake for dessert. There will be a table set up in the narthex for you to sign-up and pay. Help us have a fun-filled evening. Those who need a ride call the church and arrangements will be made.
Attention high school students: for youth group tonight we will be going to Jess O’Dell’s place for food, fun, and fellowship. We will have a campfire, and we will be toasting marshmallows. Please wear appropriate gear. Even though we will have a campfire it will still be cold and we may do some night time exploration, so dress appropriately. We will meet at the church at 7:00 and try to leave by 7:15. Tell your friends.
The food bank is having a Cookbook sale fund raiser. The Food Bank Cookbook costs $8.00. Pleas see Thelma Marlatt if you are interested in buying one.
Our Presbytery (Central Washington) carries on many vital ministries through their mission budget of $141,000. This is funded entirely by pledges from churches. This year they are $16,000 short of that. Almost all the churches of the Presbytery are receiving a special offering to “mind the gap”. Next Sunday, we will receive a special offering to help fund that. We’d like to raise $3-400 to do our part.
Pictures Taken TODAY – if you missed getting your picture taken for the directory, Phyllis will be in the back left corner of the Fellowship Hall after the service to snap a photo of you for the directory. We would love to have you in it so come get a snap shot taken.
