CHURCH DIRECTORY - This is your last Sunday to sign-up to have your picture taken for the directory. We would love to have you in there so please pick a day and sign-up.The dates for pictures: September 19th, 20th, and 21st.
A Fun Tennis Outing, Sept. 17 (you can come and just cheer) from 3-5 pm at the North Cascade Athletic Club. It will be $2 a person for the cost of the tennis balls. A potluck will follow at Ron and Randi DeHaan’s home. (Hamburgers provided.)
Next Sunday – Adult Class – Pilgrims Progress begins. Information sheets are on the Welcome Center Table. If you need a book, please sign the Friendship Register “Book”. (If you already have a copy of Pilgrims Progress, you may use that.)
Calling all ringers! (Affectionately known as ding-a-lings.) First practice will be Thursday at 6:30 pm, September 14th. Note the change of day and time. If ever you have thought, “I’d like to try playing bells”, - now is your chance! Come to the Loft on Thursday, September 14th. Ringing is fun; it is a challenge; it is a service to Christ the King. If you are interested but cannot accommodate the day or time of practice, please call Marian McClanahan, 826-1386. Those interested in ensemble ringing, (2-5 ringers), will meet immediately following the choir rehearsal.
The Presbyterian Women of Okanogan will meet Sept. 12th, at noon for their luncheon. All are welcome.
The Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery of Central Washington are gathering October 2nd from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Ellensburg, Washington. The speaker is Joan Wilson, Moderator, Presbyterian Women in the Synod of Alaska Northwest.
Your Stewardship committee is reminding you to be watching your mail later this month for your sealed 2006 pledge envelope so that you may evaluate your 2006 giving, and plan for your 2007 pledge. Your sealed 2006 pledge envelope has been in the gilded box on the altar since Stewardship Sunday 2005.
