About Our Church

First Presbyterian Church, Omak, has a membership of 200 and an average Sunday worship attendance of 140. We have 12 ruling Elders and 12 Deacons. Currently we have one Sunday morning service. Coffee fellowship follows each service. Our Sunday morning service is broadcast via local radio, KOMW 680 AM at 11:00AM. New church attendees are visited and presented with a Welcome Basket.

On May 8th, 2001, the Omak First Presbyterian Church became the first church in the state of Washington to adopt the resolutions of the Confessing Church Movement:

  • That Jesus Christ alone is the Lord of all and the only way of salvation.

  • That Holy Scripture is the Triune God's revealed Word, the Church's only infallible rule of faith and life.

  • That God's people are called to holiness in all aspects of life. This includes honoring the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, the only relationship within which sexual activity is appropriate.
